Evelyn's POV
"Oh look at him!" The witch leader smirks as she looks at my mate.
I grab a random object which happens to be a vase. I throw that outside with so much force that I am sure is going to reach Davis. But something else happened.
The vase passed through this edge of illusion, it disappeared. It did not reach the other side.
"Stupid witch magic!" I scream looking at the illusionary boundary.
At this rate, I wonder if my screams would reach him. I let my mind wander hoping to come up with a plan. Something that can get me out of here.
"Watch the show now, honey" The woman beside me smirks before leaving the room.
I run hoping to walk out of this room but it only burns and aches when I try to. Definitely not safe for the baby. So what do I do? I run to the window again.
