Cole's POV
"Danica is here. Perfect" I smile sarcastically.
"Or you can say your mother" Lucas winks with a smirk adding fuel to already existing fire.
"You guys! I wonder how you both are best friends" Evelyn rolls her eyes as she looks at both of us.
William just nods at me wishing me good luck for the next two days. He then leaves to downstairs leaving just Lucas, Evelyn and I. I hear Evelyn sigh as she takes my child version painting which is weird to say. She rolls if up and places it in one of the drawers.
"Ready to face?" Lucas asks and I smile sarcastically.
I hold Evelyn's hand and place a kiss on the back of her hand. She runs her fingers through my hair and places a kiss on my forehead.
"It will be fine" she whispers and I nod.
