The three of us sped raced to the farmhouse. It was time for a bit of revenge. The scent of wildflowers and freshly cut grass mixed with the earthy aroma of old wood was a scent I would always associate with Eloise. The late afternoon sun cast a golden glow over the porch and the three of us smiled secretly to each other. This was going to be fun.
“I don’t know why, but I feel like you three are up to something,” Eloise remarked as she opened the door. “Of course, I have questions,” she added as she looked from me to Marcia. “I thought you had been banished?”
“Banishment lifted,” Noah said as he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close. Eloise’s eyes went wide, and I smirked at her reaction.
