Jewel starts to leave, but changes her mind. She isn’t giving up a free meal, and she also knows that she was set up, but by whom? She asks the Hostess for a table as far away from Ferris’s table as possible.
The Hostess glances at the table and smirks. “We have already reserved a table for you.”
“Damn it," Jewel mumbles as she follows the woman to the table. To her surprise, the table isn’t near Ferris’s table, but she can see the table and all of them. Jewel is pleased that Ferris and Zuleyka can’t see her. The only two who have a good view of her are Americus and Cristiano.
As the woman was walking away, Jewel grabbed her hand. “I would like to order now.” She cut her eyes at Ferris, who was laughing.
