Hobie is still staring at the picture of a young Nell and Sam. "I knew you idiots were hiding something. Listen to me calling them idiots. But this is mind-blowing. Not to mention disturbing as hell. What kind of freaks have I befriended? Befriended is the wrong word. What kind of friends tricked my crazy ass into their creepy world."
The front door opens, and Sam walks through the door. Hobie is about to say something until he sees Nell, then Luke walks in behind Sam. He frowns, thinking, "even if they were released on bail, they couldn't leave the state. I should know because I jumped bail." Hobie stares at the two men's hands entwined with Nell's hands and thinks 'I have to hurry up and get away from this bull. How did I not notice this before?"
"Surprise," Nell yells and laughs.
