“Mom.” I said with a shaky breath.
My eyes darted to his figure laying on the bed, the sheets that were pooled at the sole of his feet while he threw me a lazy look.
“ Yes, dad.” I mumbled out, my voice sounded hazy as I tried to keep in the emotions that bubbled up.
Her voice echoed in my head, while his eyes put several holes though my body as I answered softly,
“ No- no! He's not here.”
She sounded quite excited, excited that her husband was sleeping around with her teenage daughter. Maybe she knew, she knew that I was just a cheater slut to him and nothing else.
