Brenda . . Three days, I had spent three days avoiding Tommy. Anytime I saw his shadow, I ducked into another office. Anytime I heard his voice, I started up random conversations with colleagues, asking them questions I never would have in a thousand years. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done.
