I couldn't scream, what could she have possibly seen that made her call me over? I didn't act like I didn't hear her. I walked over with a straight look, the opposite of what I felt within as I felt my heart leap and jump.
I felt so uneasy right now, I had clearly heard her pull the clothes and that's exactly where my stepfather had been hiding.
