Darkness. That's all I see.
I try to remember where I am but nothing comes to mind.
What was I doing before I fell asleep?
I try to move but it seems I can't.
All of a sudden everything comes back and I remember.
My heart stopping, a voice interupting the doctor, and my babies.
My eyes snap open.
Where are my babies?
I'm in a dark room but I can see light shining under the door.
A beeping is coming from my left and my left hand has tubes connected to it.
My hands move to my stomach but it's flat. My baby bump is gone.
I pull out the tubes and an alarm starts buzzing. I try to get up from the bed but people rush in before my feet can touch the floor.
The room fills with light as the people start yelling out thing.
"How is she awake?"
