Alpha King's Brutal Love

(Third person's POV) Alpha Zion and Luna Serena are a happy couple of The Nightfall Pack. They are known to be one of the strongest couples ever because he was an Alpha born and she was a Beta born. Because they say one's power should always dominate the other in the mate bond. And both can never be equals. Alpha Zion had loved his father's Beta's daughter Serena the first time he laid his eyes on her. He was five years older so he already knew that she was his mate. So he waited patiently until she turned eighteen so she could recognise him as her mate. The day she turned eighteen was celebrated because not only did she turn into a Beta but she also found herself to be the mate of the Alpha, who she was friends with since childhood. Everything was great and everything was smooth until Luna Serena got pregnant and she was abducted by the witches. They thought such a powerful creature to be born would be a reason enough to wipe out many packs that they are allies with. Luna Serena did everything she could to escape from them all. But when their own pack's witch placed her hand on the belly of Luna Serena, she instantly knew what they were talking about. "He is going to be the king," the witch whispered as she stared at the belly. Serena and Zion didn't know what she meant. "Is it a boy?" Zion asked the witch again but she was only focused on the belly that has the baby growing in it. "He is going to be the king. The conqueror. The monster. The lover," the witch whispers again. Zion and Serena exchanged glances at each other, now starting to get worried about the enemies their baby boy is going to have in the near future. "This boy is a result of two strong ranks. The werewolf history never saw something like that. And they naturally feel threatened by a boy, who is still unborn" the witch told both the parents. And she also gave them instructions and a talisman that could keep the baby boy safe even after he comes on to the earth. The next day, the same witch was found dead in her cottage. Few suspected it was a suicide but only the Alpha and Luna knew the level of danger around their son. From that day, they took strict measures. The talisman was forged and turned into a chain that he will have to wear for the rest of his life. Just a few weeks later, a beautiful healthy baby boy was born. With eyes as black so black that people thought they were made by forging the darkness itself. His ravenous hair was slightly curly and even though the boy smiled at everyone who approached him, no one ever smiled back at him. He was named Farrell. Meaning one who is strong and brave. Alpha Zion and Luna Serena wanted their son to grow up just with those two qualities. But one day, he was playing at the borders with a group of friends. He thought they were friends but to everyone in the pack, he was the ruler. He was someone who shouldn't be met with eyes. Farrell saw a figure moving just outside the borders. Someone who looked like his mother. So without a second thought he ran to her. That was the first turning point of his life, because the woman who he saw wasn't his mother. A witch with a glamor to appear like his mother to him. And Farrell fell right into the trap. Thanks to the talisman he wore around his neck, Alpha Zion found his son quick enough. But a scar remained on Farrell's cheek. The one he got when the woman who took him away sliced his skin to see if his blood was red. To drink it and see if his powers would shift to her. If it did, she planned on drinking his blood for eternity making her the strongest ever. She learnt that all of it was false when Alpha Zion killed her with one slash of his sword. That was also the day The Nightfall Pack saw its last bit of the outside world. The borders were closed. The gates were blocked. People were given an option of migration if they couldn't handle it and many actually did take that option. Only a few who were loyal to the Alpha and Luna stayed back. Farrell grew up knowing who he was. What he was capable of. And learnt incidents that took place prior to his birth. He knew that he needed to be careful everytime. Things changed quickly just after twelve years. Alpha Zion passed away in his sleep. People thought it could be because of his health, which was already a mess by then. But deep down everyone knew that there was something else that Luna did not let people know. Just as the sixteen year old Farrell became the Alpha, his first ever order was to open the gates and the borders. Everyone was horrified but they had no choice but to obey. And now that is another turning point of Farrell's life.
