Kari froze in Evan’s doorway, staring at her sister. She had no idea what to say, but it was obvious Mia could figure out what had happened. Kari was coming out of Evan’s room, freshly showered and wearing his shirt. The evidence was all over her.
She heard Evan coming up behind her and stepped farther into the hallway, still staring at her sister in silence.
Mia’s eyes snapped to Evan, her expression dark. “I thought you didn’t want to get involved with the Alpha’s daughters. Or did you just mean me?”
“What?” Kari turned to Evan, whose eyes had widened. His mouth hung slightly open. “What is she talking about?”
