Evan was seething by the time he got back to the pack house. When he’d reached the eastern border, the patrol stationed there had looked at him like he’d lost his mind. They had no idea why Mark had sent him out. When he tried to explain that someone had reported rogue sightings, both warriors just stared, confused and uneasy.
