I opened my eyes half expecting Amy to still be laid beside me and everything had just been a dream. But I was wrong, I was back in my bed with clean bedding on, fresh plump pillows, and the smell of cleaning products lingering around me. I rolled over to look at the clock and was shocked to see it was 10.34 AM, why had I slept so long? Lucian always leaves before the sunrises but Lucy had usually been in by now with a tray of food for me.
I pulled myself out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen myself up. I put on some fresh clothes and tied my hair back finally brushing my teeth before deciding to go down and see where everyone was.
