I knew this date wouldn't be as peaceful as I thought but this…. This is too much.
"Is it necessary that they must announce everywhere we go?" I whispered to my mate who gave a small chuckle.
"Its tradition and precaution for them"
I looked at my mate feeling frustrated. I know it is their duty but I can't stand the stares and the talk behind me. Of course, most of them show respect and happiness, but they are still tense knowing they are in the same room as the King and his mate.
