My eyes are focused on a small bruise that Alice has next to her mouth , which is only visible when looking closely , and at this moment I am quite close to her , so even the makeup that she put on is not enough to hide it from my eyes , I immediately frown and notice that she is breathing hastily , making her chest rise and fall rapidly , her cheeks are covered with a faint blush, surely because of how close I am , so I give a step back so as not to make her feel more uncomfortable than she already is , and ask her in a strained voice:
