We ran until we reached the palace. Draco followed me all the way. I barged into the throne room however, they were not there. I was breathless from running back but I was desperate to meet them right away.
The threat that hovered over the kingdom was greater than we had anticipated and they might strike any moment. And for that, we will have to be fully prepared. When my father had told me about the previous war, and that we must be ready for them to strike again, I knew that another great war was on the way.
My heart thumped frantically as I ran from room to room, looking for my parents. But they were nowhere to be seen.
