Naya’s amber eyes blazed with cold fury as she stared down at Isla, her lips twisted in a cruel smile.
"Naya...?" Isla whispered, her voice trembling with confusion and hurt.
Naya’s expression darkened instantly. "Shut your mouth!" she snapped. "How dare you say my name like we're equals?"
Isla winced as the pressure on her hand increased. "What... what is this about?" she asked, her voice strained with pain.
Naya stepped back, lifting her boot, and Isla instinctively cradled her hand against her chest.
Naya’s voice was low and venomous. "You know exactly what this is about." She pointed a finger at Isla. "You betrayed me!"
Isla’s brows furrowed as she struggled to understand. "Betrayed you? Naya, I’ve done nothing to you!"
Naya’s face twisted in rage. "You did nothing?!" she yelled
