I was so worried about Zeph, I kept glancing at where my mother and he had disappeared to. "You are going to break your neck if you keep that up," My dad pointed out. We were almost done with setting the table. “I’m not staring,” I lied, because obvious worry reads poorly on me. “I’m observing the feng shui of the house, and I think Killian and Jen may need some advice from Mom. When you two were here, the energy was better." Thethys covered her eyes with her paws, the second hand embarrassment filling her whole. My dad snorted. “Feng shui? Since when did you pick up interior design, Ani?” "Since yesterday," I said, keeping my face neutral to make the lie believable. "I suck at lying, but you are even worse," Thethys grumbled lowly, covering her eyes with her paws. "Shush."
