Amalia Anderson I texted Andrew, "I can´t do this." I typed and hit send. I didn´t want to look back and remember how great his lips felt on mine, how tender he could be around me, or how concerned he was when I fainted. My head was at odds with my heart, which further complicated things. The surprising thing was that after that text, he didn´t answer. Did he regret kissing me? Did he remember that I was the useless girl he laughed about all those years ago? I guess so because after that, we went completely our separate ways. School started, and my entire focus was getting around campus and getting my first lessons right. My first class was History of Art I.
