Angel's p.o.v

I wake up and I am so happy, today is my birthday. Mom said she was going to plan a small dinner for me tonight so I am excited for that. I start getting ready for the day. I've been at my new school for 2 weeks now. Mom made me talk to a therapist at my new school to help get over the trauma and it does help, but what helps is seeing Rudy everyday afterschool. Being able to talk to and spend time with someone that knows what you went through personally is actually very helpful. I thought I would hate my new school, but I actually like it and I get to sleep in later since I can walk to the school and get there in like 5 minutes. It's literally down the street from our home. Mom started working and also spending time with a biker from the club that Finny is from. I don't get a very good vibe from him, but he makes mom happy so I just keep my mouth closed and let them be. Maybe I am just being paranoid about it. It's hard to trust anyone after dad left. If my own dad can do that to us, what can I expect from anyone else? The day goes by quickly and I am now at home getting ready for my birthday dinner. Rudy is here helping me get ready and we are catching up on gossip.

Tyler's p.o.v

Today is Gwinny's birthday. My family was invited to their house for a dinner her mom is having for her. Actually, some club members were invited from what Finny told me. Apparently their mom has been going on dates with Tiny. I have been focusing on my training and on my job that I have to do for the club and I try to stay away from the clubhouse at nights, especially on Fridays when everyone parties, but the other day I had no other choice. A girl walked up to me and tried to give me a lapdance. I told her not to touch me and some of the guys made fun of me and asked me if I was scared of puśšy. I stormed off pissed. Jax wanted to come out and snap their necks. Finnick came behind me asking me what was wrong and I had no choice but to tell him the truth about his sister. I didn't feel right keeping it from him. Surprisngly he was happy and just told me not to f**k it up or he would kick my aśs. Jax didn't like that he said that, but I understand that she is his sister, so I let it go. Lately things have been going well with my training, the only thing with the girl that I am having to watch over, she has gotten a bit too friendly. She is always touching my arm and telling me that I am cute or handsome. Now Gwinny's birthday dinner is going to be during the time that I have to be watching this girl and I do not want to miss my mate's birthday, so I am going to just make this girl come with me. She can sit in a corner and wait. "I don't think you should take her, it isn't a good idea" Jax tells me, but there's no way I will miss a chance to see my mate. Especially on her birthday. I am not going to be a shitty mate. I bought her a necklace with a heart and the letter A on it. I really hope she likes it.

Angel's p.o.v

I put on a really cute dress. Rudy says it makes me look older than what I am and sexier. I have long hair so he helped me curl it and I don't wear makeup, so I just put on lipgloss. I am wearing my chucks because I am still a rebel and do not feel like I am girly girl. Rudy thinks that as I get older I will start liking girl things. He says I am basic right now. I have no idea what that even means, but I feel cute today. We walk down to where everyone already is and the queen comes greet me first. "Happy Birthday Angel. Look at you. Don't you look beautiful." she says and gives me a hug. "This is from the king and I" she says handing me a gift bag. "Thank you, you shouldn't have" I tell her and put the gift on the table. She smiles at me and Eli jumps on me. "Happy Birthday sissy" she yells. Everyone takes a turn wishing me a happy birthday. The only time I felt uncomfortable was when mom's new man stared at me a little too long for my liking. "Wow, look at you looking like a grown woman. Happy Birthday" he said. I didn't even say anything. I walked away with Rudy who felt the creeps from him as well. Atleast I am not alone.

Mom got her boyfriend and their club to grill burgers and hotdogs and she got me my favorite banana creme pie instead of cake because everyone knows that's my favorite. After everyone eats, they start a bonfire. Rudy comes to sit next to me "Look who's here" he says and I follow his hand and see Hunter pull up in an suv. My happiness lasts 2 seconds because a blonde babe gets out of the passenger side. She is brautiful. She had a nice body. Long hair and big boobs. Reminds me of everything I am lacking. They both walk in through the side yard door. He whispers something to her and she sits down on an empty chair. I look at Rudy "Its okay Angel. Don't show that it gets to you" he whispers to me. I guess mom is right I always show what I am feeling. People can always tell by my facial expressions, so I do my best to hide it. I put a big fat smile on my face. I look around and I see Laura talking to one of the bikers. He must be the one she is in love with. He's handsome. Rudy gets up to go get more punch and I notice Hunter walking over to me. Shìť, this is bad. "Happy Birthday Gwinny" He says. I remember not to show my feelings so I smile. "Thanks" I say and I look away trying not to look at his face. "Here, I got you a gift" he says. I take a peak at him and he looks amazing. "Oh, you shouldn't have" I tell him. "Nonsense, of course I have to" he says and hands me a small box. "open it" he tells me. "right now?" I ask and he nods. "Yeah, I actually only stopped by for a bit, I have to go soon" he says. I nod and unwrap the box and then open it. Its is a beautiful necklace. It has a heart pendant and the letter A on it. "Wow Hunter, this is beautiful." I tell him. "Can I put it on you?" he asks and I nod frantically. I am going to wear this and never take it off. I move my hair to the side and he puts it on me. I move my hair back and I touch the necklace. I am sure I have a stupid smile on my face. He just made my birthday the best one ever. Well it was until his girlfriend walks up to us. "Hey babe, you ready to go?" she asks him. He looks up and behind him. He is about to answer her when she cuts him off. "You said this was quick, we still have things we have to do." she says and I take it as that's all the time I'm getting from him. "Thanks again, bye", I tell him and walk away from them. I go to my room because I no longer want to celebrate my birthday.

Tyler's p.o.v

I can't believe Evette just called me babe in front of my mate. I know she is young, but mom claims she feels something, so this was a total fail. Jax has blocked me out, because of this stunt. Mom has linked me calling me an idìot and Finnick is angry that I showed up here with a female. I had to link him explaining that I am working my security gig, but I didn't want to miss my mate's birthday. I do not know if he believed me, but it's not like I am lying. I dont think they understand how strong the bond is already. It is pulling me towards my mate, but not in a s****l or perverted way. Its hard to explain. It's just a strong pull. It's like I know that she completes me. Just being near her feels right. We dont even have to talk, just be in the same space. It's like if being near her makes everything right in the world. Just knowing that she is my person. I would do any and everything for her. Just knowing that no other person in the world will make me feel the way I do with her. Mom says I took at her different than I look at anyone else. It's just everything all together. I should probably get that under control though. I dont want anyone to know for now, because I don't want to disrupt her life. I take Evette back to her house. She complains the whole way telling me how boring my friends are and talking about what Angel was wearing. "Who wears a dress with sneakers? I mean it looked cute on her, but who does that?" she asks. I am so annoyed and can't wait for my shift to be over so I can go home and sleep this crappy day off. "You can be happy Angel went inside and didn't come back out. She told Angela she didn't feel well. She claimed it was something she ate." mom links me. Great, I ruined my mate's birthday.
