Cam gave me a look, and I scrambled to put my phone back up to my ear. I couldn't lose control even momentarily. “Hello?” I said into it, hoping I didn’t lose the connection.
“Alpha. We are prepared to send our men in. We wanted to make sure it was okay with you before we went across your pack borders.”
“I’ll send out my Gamma and some warriors to meet you.” I made eye contact with Cam and motioned for him to come over. He excused himself and was by my side for a few moments.
“I’ll send you their exact coordinates. I’ll instruct them to await your Gamma,” He paused for a second “I do apologize, Alpha.”
“Once we locate him, we can put this behind us,” I said, my voice hard.
“Thank you, Alpha. Call back if you need more assistance.” I hung up and turned to Cam.
