Anna felt better than she ever did. All thanks to Violet's nagging to make her eat soup and take medicines on time. When she woke up the next day, her head wasn't pounding, and she could breathe through her nose without sniffling. She counted that as a win.
As usual Violet was driving them to college.
"Did Jade call you yesterday?" Violet asked, her eyes focused on the road in front of her.
Anna raised her brow at that. Does that mean Jade called her as well? What was her best friend calling them for? It was something that occupied her thoughts late at night, and she couldn't sleep at all.
"Mmh. She said she wanted to talk about something."
"She told me the same thing but didn't go through it."
"Right?! Something is going on with her" Anna hummed, folding her hands together.
