Anna felt her heart heavy as soon as they exited Tylor’s college. She couldn’t even say anything. Aaron tried to talk her through the ride, chime in with bizarre things, but she forced a smile in his direction and nodded along. The English student didn’t dare to say anything; her heart thudding in her chest.
She was angry on Tylor, furious even. How can he think that she won’t understand? Why did he not tell her? Did he really think so little of her?
