Ryker and I were in the library talking to my parents about the upcoming plan. I didn't tell them about the water I had coughed up. If my mother had known, she would never have let me proceed with the plan. This is a chance to find answers, and I won't waste it.
"So," Uncle Liam drew out. "You want to go to this town and find what?"
"I had a vision when I touched the map. I don't know what I'm looking for until I have another vision, but this is my only clue." I looked at my mother, who had been quiet. "Mom, please tell them I can do this?"
"King Nathan has already rented a home and has had warriors sweep the area for any potential threat," Ryker told them, and I looked at him.
"When the hell did that happen?"
"Princess, I made arrangements."
