After everything that had happened this morning, I was exhausted. But as soon as I walked through the portal with Nathan, all I could think about was finding the voices.
"Can I see where you monitor all the raw magic?" I turned and asked my mate.
"No resting?" he sighed and I shook my head.
Without another word, he grabbed my hand and I followed him out of his room. I needed answers to what Ashlyn and I went through in the beginning. There has to be a reason why the magic took us back. And there also has to be a reason why Mother Nature tied us together. One thing is for sure, it explains why my magic is so strong after meeting Ashlyn. My magic was feeding off her magic. But even now, I can absorb so much more than she can.
