Ember
I felt the raw magic before we arrived at our destination. Magic glowed around us as we walked. I absorbed as much as I could, feeling guilty that this was also affecting Ashlyn. There was nothing I could do to stop the magic from going to her. It was going to be a lot as I looked around the surrounding forest.
I panted as I took in more. The worst part was the red magic. It burned as my magic contained the evil magic and turned it back to green.
The magic is a part of the witch and will change with them, hence the red magic turning green. I’m sure if Ashlyn was here the magic would turn purple.
“Baby, no more,” Nathan demanded, but I shook my head. If the magic is already red, it could be used for destruction and I wasn’t willing to risk it.
