“Fifteen days!?!” Milly and Mia say at the same time as they look at one another and then back at Max. “Max… Could you not push for a longer threshold?”
Max sighed and frowned. “I don’t think I could… All things considered, she had twenty days before you all got here. It took you guys five days just to get here, so that is why it is only fifteen days now.”
“If you would have told us it was something like this, we would have made arrangements to get out here sooner,” Milly snarled. She inhales deeply and shakes her head. “Oh well, I guess it means we just have to make our time together more meaningful, right?”
