It has been a day since last night’s incident, and if you were wondering, I am okay, no scratch that; I feel like I am free right now. All that I was holding on to has finally left me and my soul. Today is a fresh start for me, and I want to live my life like yesterday never existed.
I am sitting on the rocking chair in my son’s room with Mia sleeping on top of me, and Dante is sleeping soundly in the incubator. This is just tranquillity for me, and I can proudly say that I am going to enjoy the rest of my life from today, happy with my family. I am not saying I will not account for any problems in the future, but they definitely won’t be about my past. I am moving on from everything that happened before I met Pablo, and I am focusing on my future now.
