Ravaric made himself comfortable before he started talking. Several deep breaths followed by sighs told me that it wasn’t a part of history he wanted to talk about.“What do you know about dragons history?” He started with a question.
“Only what you and Alarick told me along with information from the books,” I answered, but he shook his head.
“I meant in general. What do you know about their origins? When they showed up and how? Do you know anything about that?” he asked. Initially I was ready to say no, but then I remembered the legend Alarick told me. It might just have been a legend, but it was still something.
“Just a legend Alarick told me about the ancestors, but nothing about the origins,” I told him and he nodded slightly.
“Ah, I know that story. It is not true, but it is not a
