DIANA stretched both her arms when she woke up. Without opening her eyes she turned to the side where June sleeps. Frowning, she opened her eyes when she found nothing but a soft pillow.
She looked around. June was nowhere in sight. The bathroom door was open. She did not hear anything that someone may be using it.
She sighed in disappointment.
She sat on the bed and leaned on the headboard. She pouted and scratched her sleepy eyes.
"Happy birthday to me." She uttered to the silent bedroom.
