Emilia was floating. Friday night had marked the anniversary of her first boyfriend. Carter O'Miley was her boyfriend officially. Neither were on social media but they hadn't needed the superficial branding of being online together. They were content of him picking her up in the morning, eating lunch together in the Courtyard, and being with each other throughout the weekend.
Emilia finally met Carter's Aunt Dahlia, Nicholas had extended an invite to church and then dinner. And dinner at the O'Miley house had been epic. Other than Marcellus, Nicholas and Dahlia had four other children. Two grown children, Maddie and Patrick, and little thirteen year old Addison. Or Addie for short. And then there was the adorable Henry with his big green mischievous eyes and curly mop of blonde hair he was the most adorable.
They had all went to church bright and early, then after spent the day at their place. Emilia had enjoyed talking with Henry and Addie not to mention gossiping with Maddie. She was only two years older but was funny and seemed happy to see her younger cousin with the sweet female.
Emilia had been talking with Maddie and Dahlia when he had come over and wrapped his arms around her. He sat a long island sweet tea down beside her and whispered in her ear, "You okay?" Emilia blushed, "Never better." Carter chuckled, a deep rumbling sound before walking away. "Alright then beautiful." Emilia let out a deep breath and when she noticed his cousin and aunt staring at them with their jaws on the floor she whispered, "What?"
Maddie giggled, "We're sorry we just NEVER see him act this way!" Emilia looked down nervous, "Did he bring home a lot of girls?" Dahlia shook her head, "Not a lot darling, but the few he did we knew they wouldn't last. He was so...indifferent to them. We could tell they cared for him more than he did them. And now we could see him vibrating with how happy he is around you. It's a good thing to see."
Emilia smiled happily, she liked that Carter's family thought she was good for him. She had hoped she would be. Later they sat at the table and got ready to tuck in for dinner, when Marcellus came in. He sat at the table and when he noticed Emilia with Carter he frowned. "What are you two doing here?"
Carter glared at his cousin annoyed, "Uncle Nicholas invited us." Marcellus frowned and looked at her, "And you? Why come with this-." Dahlia slammed her hand on the table, her green eyes blazing, "Don't you dare! You will not come home and start trouble. Either eat in silence or go to your room!" Marcellus looked at his mother angry and whispered, "Of course you'd chose the orphan over your own son. Charity is all he got."
He then shot a smug look at Emilia, "Which is how he probably got her." Emilia glared at Marcellus, "Unlike you Marcellus, Carter's a good guy. You? You're just sad." Emilia stood and excused herself. She hated being around Marcellus in all honesty. Whenever Cindy couldn't get to her, he would try. The one time he did, well it didn't end well.
"Go on a date with me." Marcellus said as he caught up to her. Emilia had been leaving the library when he had saw her. She had saw him to, chatting up a female with her breast pushed out to impress him. But now here he was annoying her. "No thank you." Emilia tried to get past him, but Marcellus grabbed her wrist, "Come on! Why do you act like you can do better than me!" Emilia gripped Marcellus' wrist and bent it in an ugly angle causing him to yelp, "I can do better than you Marcellus."
Emilia had left him standing there holding his wrist in pain. Emilia had told Carter what had happened and had to stop him from going after his cousin not thinking clearly. Carter was now currently scowling at the prick with hate, "I know it wounds your ego to lose to said orphan, but leave her alone."
Marcellus scoffed, "I wouldn't lose if I told her the truth. Everyone's tried but she'd rather be your little girlfriend than hear who you really are." Carter smiled a little, "That's why I like her," He looked to his uncle and aunt who smiled at him widely, "Emilia is real, she'd rather listen to me than a bunch of losers with nothing better to do than gossip. She trusts me." Carter threw Marcellus a nasty look before getting up and finding his girlfriend.
Emilia was on the porch overlooking the lake, sitting in the porch swing. Sitting beside her, Carter asked, "You okay?" Emilia nodded, "Yeah, I just hate being around Marcellus, he's such a tool." Carter laughed, "That he is." Laughing both cuddled up close as crickets and the stars became their only company. "It's beautiful out here." Emilia commented and Carter nodded looking at her. "It is."
Emilia turned to him and smiled shyly. Carter led her through the wet grass of the back yard, when they got to the lake, they kicked off their shoes. Emilia giggled as she kicked the cool water with her toes and looked to her peaceful boyfriend. Snapping a picture of him, Emilia whispered, "So beautiful." Carter turned to her and smiled a little.
Kissing under the crescent moon, Carter slowly pulled away as the urge to keep going got stronger. Emilia started to move closer again but shook the feeling away. She had never had s*x and after a few weeks of dating she didn't think she should. But her entire body screamed, "f**k HIM!!"
Emilia turned to look at the lake and whispered, "Do you swim?" Carter nodded, "Yeah, you?" Emilia turned around and got undressed and Carter turned and began to do the same. When he was in nothing but his boxers, he heard the splash and turned to see, Emilia half way in. Following behind her, Carter caught her around the waist and began to kiss her neck. "I've been good for the past few weeks but that doesn't mean I'm not going crazy. Your body is incredible."
Emilia looked at him unsure, she knew she wasn't ugly but her body was another story. She had b cup breast and a somewhat okay ass. Her body wasn't as curvy and luscious as Cindy's so she was sure she was out of the running in that department. "So you're not disappointed?" Carter shook his head, "No. I'm not. I think you're incredible in every aspect. But you, your body, I think it's amazing." Smiling happily Emilia kissed him as he walked them deeper in the lake.
Swimming around for hours, the couple was unaware of Nicholas and Dahlia watching them. The aged couple watched the love birds with large smiles. "I have never seen him this happy." Nicholas whispered in shock, Dahlia nodded, "I agree." Seeing her sister in her nephew she couldn't help but grin, "It's good he's finally found someone. Emilia is bringing out the good in him."
Just then their eldest came in to join the conversation, "Well then you should watch Marcellus then." Maddie walked in the kitchen and joined them at the window, "He's plotting against them." Nicholas sighed wary of his son's actions, "Why though? Emilia isn't his type, she's a nice American girl who has forever stamped on her forehead. That doesn't interest him whatsoever."
Maddie nodded, "Right, but can you think of one girl of Carter's that he didn't go after? He only likes Emilia because she chose Carter. He doesn't like the chase if it doesn't include his cousin's girl." Dahlia nodded, "Like Cindy."
The three fell silent thinking of the drama that had ended with Carter moving out.
After swimming around for hours, Emilia and Carter ran into the house to get dried off. Emilia rushed into the bathroom first and took a hot shower before getting dressed in some of Maddie's clothes. When she came out, Marcellus was waiting for her.
Looking her over he sneered, "You don't know anything about him. He's not right for you!" Emilia sighed, "Funny I was thinking the same thing about you." Marcellus scoffed, "I don't care what you think about me darling," he looked her over again, "I could have rocked your f*****g world, but Carter? He's going to leave you broken and crying in alley. Just ask Cindy."
Carter appeared and sneered, "f**k off Marcellus!" Marcellus rolled his eyes and shot a mean look at Emilia before leaving. Carter walked to her and whispered, "You okay?" Emilia slowly nodded, "Yeah, can you take me back to the dorms?"
