Hearing the noise outside and seeing a flash of fur running past her office, Emma joined the men.
“What just happened?” She wasn’t shocked, but she was very surprised.
“Isobel’s wolf Mheegan just happened. You can take the rest of the day off, Emma. She is not coming back after that. We will be lucky if she returns at all today. Florence upset her.” Radagast sounds furious and Emma flinches each time she hears something crashing or breaking.
“I’ve never seen a wolf-like her. She was really scary, but I also felt safe. Anyway, I have work to get done here, so if she returns today, I will be here. Thank you, Mr. Silver-fox.” Emma smiled at Radagast and flinched again when something crashed further into the castle.
