“So, quick tell us all about Miles before the men get here!” Alina squeals excitedly. I play along and smile even though I am still reeling from seeing Darius’ wolf an hour ago. I knew I was being followed in the woods, I was just so surprised when I realised who it was. His wolf was just as beautiful as him. Enormous, strong and with the most stunning fur that matched Darius hair. As soon as I peered into those hypnotic brown eyes I knew who they belonged to. I was still furious with Darius for what happened last night but something in me wanted to go and stroke Gunner. But when I walked towards him, he bolted. The rejection hurt more than I cared to admit.
