“Where are my girls?” I bellowed as I walked through the castle doors. My kingly duties had kept me away from my wife and daughter for far longer than I liked, and I couldn’t wait to squeeze the life out of them.
“Daddy!” I hear the angelic voice of my little princess and grin broadly when a tornado of black hair and bright eyes comes racing around the corner and leaps into my arms. With her little arms around my neck, I spin in a circle using my vampire speed and she squeals with delight.
