“It… it’s all your fault. You are the reason that my mate didn’t even think about acknowledging me and discuss whatever problem she has. You ruined my relationship with my mate,” Orion continued cursing me, blaming me for Daisy’s hesitation.
I didn’t say a word in retort, also ignoring his disrespect towards me because the reasons that Daisy gave for this incident included my rejection.
Never even in my dreams had I ever imagined that my rejection would leave this kind of impression on others. What I did was my personal matter, but I forgot that I was an alpha, the leader of my pack, someone people look for guidance.
Daisy was still not ready to even look at Orion, and that was why, Summer asked to be at Hunter so that she and Chloe could talk to her calmly.
