Summer’s P.O.V.
“I told you not to stress yourself so much, Summer. See what has happened to you now?” Chloe scolded me while giving me a mug of coffee.
I looked at her with gratitude while taking the mug from her.
I was exhausted to the bone by now, especially the headache.
It was killing.
“I need to ensure that we don’t have any loopholes, Chloe, and you were there in the meeting. Do you think with so many flaws, we would be able to sleep peacefully tonight?” I asked her calmly, and took a sip of the hot drink.
The bitter taste of the coffee hit my taste buds, but I felt relieved.
“Alpha Nathan will be here soon. He is already pissed that you extended your work hours this long.” She muttered while going towards my desk.
