“Yesterday was……. Uhhhhhh…. I couldn’t sleep the whole night while thinking, If we weren’t this resourceful, what would happen to you…. to us?” Chloe continued ranting, sounding still worried and angry.
We stopped in front of the elevator and I looked at them.
“Relax, Chloe. The way you are frowning and scowling, I am sure that you will get wrinkles on your face earlier than a human woman of your age.” I teased her and she glared at me.
“The game is still on, Chloe. We don’t know what level of danger we will face today. So, don’t let yesterday’s incident occupy your mind.” I warned her in a firm voice.
