Dominic has to leave on a business trip to the other side of the country; he is gone from Friday to Sunday, returning early Monday morning. It just works out that I can pick him up from the airport, take him back home, and still make it to work on time. That is our agreement. I was nervous for him to leave initially: I am cognizant of the fact my security here is largely contingent on Dominic, so without him I feel vulnerable. He reminds me worst case scenario Dante is just up the road. He gives me a few other phone numbers to call too in the event of a real emergency. He reassures me I will be okay. When I dropped him off at the airport Thursday evening I felt reassured.
