Dominic I formulated a plan over the week to see if I could find any evidence of Dante being involved in the attack. Dante is supposed to be gone at the beginning of December—he will be driving to the other side of the province for business for two days. The night before he has to leave I am going to knock on his door a little after midnight and tell him that Eloise and I have been fighting and I need a place to crash for a couple nights. My plan is contingent on three factors: him allowing me through the door, him allowing me to spend the night, and him not waking me up in the morning to leave with him.
