The group was ecstatic when they saw the wings on the boys. I still have trouble understanding how Gloria could do this. She said it was part of the true queen's abilities, and I should just accept that we were not normal shifters, but real royalty, that was born when the kingdom was in need, and maybe the true queen was not needed again till now, because no matter how hard the shifters try to avoid one being born and finding their mate, fate will always step in and make a way for it to happen, it was confusing to me, but I tried hard to not question it. I hope, now that I am here, that more female shifters will be born. Maybe the ruins will explain why we have so few female shifters, and if there was something in there that could help fix that.
