The tower was tall and round, and walking up the spiraling stairs almost made me dizzy. I looked out the window each time we passed one. It was more of an opening, two bricks wide and four bricks high, but you got to see a fantastic view in all directions.
There were three very old men looking after the archives. The moment I walked in, they knelt before me, giving me the blessing of long life and wisdom to rule with kindness and a strong hand. It sounded like a contradiction, but I guess there was some logic in there somewhere, I was just too blind to see it.
'We are looking for something to do with female dragons.' Enzo informed the men, once he convinced them to get up off their knees.
