I left the board meeting and went straight to James' house. My mind was focused. This was not a moment to panic. Marcus wanted to ruin both James and me, but I would not let him take control. Not today.
When I arrived, I saw the reporters and photographers still outside. They were pushing to get closer, shouting questions. I stayed in my car a moment, taking a deep breath. I knew I had to move carefully. I called Alexander before I stepped out.
"Alexander, I'm at my brother's place. There are reporters all over the front. I need you here now, I'll send you the address."
"On my way," he said. There was no hesitation in his voice.
