Reflections in fear

1050 Words

My heart was racing so fast I could feel it in my throat. My hands shook, so I shoved them in my pockets. Every few steps I looked over my shoulder, expecting to see him following me. The street stayed empty. The FBI agents were probably still at his house. They would figure out we ran soon. Then they would start looking for both of us. I needed to think. I could sit in the back and no one would bother me.
