Ava's POV
I'm walking through a meadow. It's super cold and I'm wearing nothing but a flimsy satin dress that's has a low neckline. My teeth are chattering wildly and goosebumps are rising on my skin.
"You're shivering." A husky voice whispers and I feel strong manly hands going around my waist.
I recognize Shane's perfume instantly and i lean into his warm embrace.
"I hope i didn't keep you waiting?" He whispers in that sexy baritone of his again. His voice makes me want to melt. It's like the sun and i am the ice cream that melts.
"You did but it's fine. You are here. That's what matters."
He tilts my head and kisses my neck.
"I love you, Ava."
I want to tell him that I love him too, that he is my life, my heart and I can't live without him.
But i don't.
