I'm alone in bed when i wake up. Jesse's side of the bed is cold and i know he left a while ago. I guess he is back to his workaholic self.
I pull the duvet tighter around me and roll over in bed. I'm feeling dehydrated but at least my hand is better. There's a dull ache deep down but that's about it.
My phone's indicator is blinking and i quickly reach for it. My background is a photo of my mom from long ago and i make a mental note to change it as soon as i can. I love her but i should start letting bygones be bygones. I will mourn her, I'll probably take forever to move on, but no matter how much I want her alive, it's beyond my powers to make that happen.
