I didn’t think when Rina’s hand struck Mae. Something inside me snapped and my body moved before my mind caught up. Heat rushed through my veins and my wolf stirred, angry and loud inside me. I shoved Rina back with all the strength I had. She stumbled into the counter with a loud thud, her eyes wide.
