Tang Ling returned from home with a completely different g*n in his hand. The structure of the Burst Pistol was made to shoot Burst bullets which shred flesh easily and the workshop needed to rework the design for the g*n to shoot normal bullets that could be found in the market.
The Burst bullets would need to be custom-made; not suitable for Ducke and himself too, a humble slummer with no relevant connections.
The change in design resulted to a reduction in firepower and lethality but increased its firing speed and magazine size.
There were also similar pistols and rifles in the workshop but it was seriously expensive.
After modifying the g*n, Tang Ling went to a dollar store and bought paper wraps. Then returning at home, Tang Ling finished wrapping his present, ready to show Ducke
