As his nails clawed at my throat and I held the blade to his, we stared into each other’s eyes, knowing it was always destined to be this way. Everything was against us from the very beginning. We never stood a chance.
His stunning silver irises dazzled with a mixture of intense longing, arousal, pain and anger through the torrential rain. They glimmered with his magic as the storm raged around us but we never took our eyes off each other. I wanted him to f*ck me in this wood. In the dirt. Wild. Raw. No one had any idea we were here. He could have died back there. I could still die before the sun rises. But right now, I was alive and so was he.
