Not surprisingly, I was the only woman in my particular cell. I wasn't sure if the officers who took me into custody knew whom they manhandled, but they were careful enough when they guided me into the Yard. A rather annoying half hour later, when I refused to speak or answer any questions, I was deposited in said cell to mull over my fate and try to decide what to do.
