Andrea walked straight to her room when she got home from her little meeting with Austin. It wasn’t her best moment. It didn’t feel good that she had to reject someone she had grown to care for and regard as her friend. She really hoped that his emotional wounds heals and that he gets a great girl one day. She just wasn’t that girl. Even if she and Damon didn’t work out, she could never tell Austin, or even expect him to wait for her. Andrea really felt like it would take years to get over Damon and who says when she eventually gets over Damon she’d actually be able to feel something romantically for Austin.
